2021/2022 Season Predictions

The new Premier League season is only a matter of days away now and I can’t wait (although as an Arsenal fan I probably can). Here are my predictions for the 2021/2022 season:

League Finish: 7th

You can call it pessimistic but I call it realistic. Minimal weak points in our team have actually been addressed and a lot of the previous problems are still there. As much as I’d like to say we are making it back into Europe this season, there are a lot of clubs with stronger teams right now.

Most Valuable Player: Emile Smith Rowe

ree

For me, he is the make or break player. If he can continuously put in great performances than this Arsenal team will flourish. He has the Number 10 shirt, he has the new contract: let’s see if he can step up. Something tells me he will.

Breakout Season: Nicolas Pepe

ree

This man looked dangerous at the end of last season. He was practically scoring for fun, however we need to see it again. Put this man at RM and give the ball to his feet… his left boot can do the rest.

Most Disappointing Player: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

ree

I know, I know. He was so so good when he joined, and yes, he has only had one bad season but I just don’t see it happening. Lacazette is currently in better form as a ST and I don’t see Arteta changing two a 2 ST formation. For me, he just doesn’t cut it at LM and it showed at the start of last season.

One to Watch: Albert Sambi Lokonga

ree

Now I know we only signed him as a player who we could gradually build up to Premier League level, however with the recent Thomas Partey injury (and even with Partey in the Starting XI) I want to see this man start. Showed great confidence and skill in preseason and could turn out to be something very special for Arsenal.

Big Signing:

HAH! You really think we will make a big signing this season? Grow up.

How is he still here? player: Willian

He just always is, isn't he?

Any disagreements on the above categories? Let me know what you think.

Surely you guys get relegated. It'd just be nice.

Real talk i reckon playing no european football will benefit you. Can focus on the league and putting your best team out every week.
