Arsenal stars sign on

The Gunners are making sure to secure their stars this off-season, with William Saliba the latest Gunner to renew his contract.

The Kroenke’s have promised a busy transfer window, with Arteta looking at bringing five players to the Emirates but is the players already there that are at the top of the agenda.

The most recent of these is William Saliba. There were initial concerns over his salary but the Frenchman has now agreed to stay a Gunner until 2027. Saliba’s original contract would run out at the end of the season, however all we await now as Arsenal fans is confirmation that the sublime center back has put pen to paper.

Another stalwart of the starting eleven has signed on, continuing the streak of good news for the Arsenal faithful. Starboy Bukayo Saka has opted to progress his legacy at the Arsenal by agreeing to stay for another four years, ending in June 2028. Like Saliba, we are just waiting on official confirmation.

A fellow Hale End graduate has been convinced to stay at Arsenal despite many reports linking him elsewhere. Reiss Nelson has all but put pen to paper and extended his stay at the Emirates until 2027.

With Gabriel Martinelli also extending his contract earlier on this month, Aaron Ramsdale seems to be the next to enter contract negotiations.

Arteta has prioritised keeping his stars before signing new ones and it seems to be a great omen for the rest of the transfer window.
