Premier League: Arsenal vs Liverpool Player Ratings

Well that was a tough watch. All we can really do now is hope and pray for the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta – 5

Every time I say he put out a good game plan that the players just didn’t execute but that was abysmal. Didn’t seem like there was any real tactic apart from sit back. With so many players being so poor there had to be a problem in the lead up to the game.

Bernd Leno – 5

Couldn’t really have done much but we did concede 3 goals.

Callum Chambers – 5.5

Did well to silence Mane and keep possession at times, however we did concede 3 goals.

Rob Holding – 4.5

In all honesty, I forgot he was on the pitch.

Gabriel – 6

Was the best player on the pitch for Arsenal until he lost out to Salah on the second goal and gave away possession on the third goal. Other than that, classy performance.

Kieran Tierney – 5.5

If he is not back from injury in time for the Europa League we will lose that too.

Thomas Partey – 7

The only strong point in an abysmal Arsenal side. Held possession really well, tried to start attacks but didn’t really get any help. Would love to see more of that from him.

Dani Ceballos – 3.5

To put it quite simply, he couldn’t do anything right.

Martin Odegaard – 4.5

Mostly non-existent. Was absent as that middle man in between midfield and attack.

Nicolas Pepe – 4.5

Non-existent. Didn’t really have the chance to do anything.

Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang – 4.5

The most commotion this man caused today was the commotion to my stomach due to having to look at his horrid haircut for 90 minutes.

Alexandre Lacazette – 4.5

Also poor in possession. No chances up front. He was silenced.

MAN OF THE MATCH:

Thomas Partey – 7

The only player that I looked at and thought I couldn’t have done a better job than.
