DONE DEALS:
Fabio Vieira to Arsenal (£35m - incoming)
The signing of the 22-year-old looks to be a good piece of business from Arsenal. Although it is yet to be announced, the Portuguese midfielder is a top prospect coming out of FC Porto. Whether he plays alongside or in replacement for Odegaard is a question for the future.
Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal (£45m – incoming)

This was the big one and we got it done! The four time Premier League champion is making his way to the Emirates Stadium for a very sensible fee. Arteta and Edu will hope that the Brazilian can bolster the Arsenal attack, whether it be out wide or down the middle.
Matt Turner to Arsenal (£5.7m – incoming)
This deal had been agreed in a previous transfer window, however New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner is now a Gunner. The American will wear the number 30 at the Emirates and is expected to be Arteta’s second-in-line once Bernd Leno leaves the club.
Matteo Guendouzi to Marseille (£9m – outgoing)
After falling out with Arteta early on, the talented prospect was sent to Marseille on loan. Guendouzi has found form in France and Marseille have made the transfer permanent.
William Saliba to Arsenal (loan recall – incoming)
There was plenty of discussion around Saliba’s future and whether he was a part of Arteta’s plans going forward. The defender was signed for around £40m but is yet to play a game for the Gunners, having been loaned out to Marseille. Arteta has now made it clear that Saliba is in his future plans, with the player confirming that he will stay at Arsenal himself. He looks to be a very exciting player to look out for.
Alexandre Lacazette to Lyon (free – outgoing)
Upon his contract running out, Lacazette has returned to his previous club of Lyon. After a solid few years at Arsenal, he stated that he wanted to play Champions League football again. So he signed for OL. Who are 8th. In the Ligue 1. Not in Europe at all.
LINKS:
Lisandro Martinez to Arsenal (incoming)
It was originally his Ajax counterpart, Jurrien Timber, who was in high demand but now the attention has been turned to Lisandro Martinez. The defender has been approached by both Arsenal and Manchester United, with either club having agreed terms as of the time of writing. Arsenal are leading the race for the Argentine, closing in on an agreeable fee with multiple bids.
Youri Tielemans to Arsenal (incoming)
Arsenal have been linked with Tielemans since the start of the transfer window but are yet to make any real progress. The Belgian has been identified as a main target but is not a top priority currently for Edu and Arteta as they get other transfers over the line first.
Hector Bellerin to Real Betis (outgoing)
After a successful loan spell at Real Betis, Bellerin has returned to North London. Real Betis are adamant on keeping him permanently but are not willing to pay his £10m evaluation. They have even asked Arsenal to waive his contract, yet Edu has made Arsenal’s standpoint clear – no money, no transfer.
Raphinha to Arsenal (incoming)
The talented Brazilian winger is being chased by many clubs, with Arsenal being one of them. Leeds have asked for £65-70m, which has been met by Chelsea. Edu and Arteta have submitted a second bid which is just under that valuation, however, they must move quick to lure Raphinha to the Emirates.
